March 2019 Star of the Month

Congratulations to Karen Mazza, our March 2019 Star of the Month!

What her instructors say:  Karen was in class yesterday and I talked with her afterwards about how much she has improved since I first remember having her in class. Her body awareness and connection has increased a great deal. She said she tries to come three times per week. And she is often encouraging (and sometimes successfully convincing) friends to do classes with her. Karen is very open to corrections and asks questions, which I believe has helped her to improve her form!

More about Karen:

What made you decide you wanted or needed to start an exercise program?

I was going to the gym, but just was not getting a lot out of it.

What made you start doing Pilates?

A friend of my sister told us about it and we decided to take a class and see if we liked it.

What do you like about Pilates?

I like that the classes are small, the instructors make sure you are doing the exercises correctly and they encourage you to achieve your goals.

How long have you been doing Pilates?

For about six months.

Have you done Pilates at any other studios other than 15 to Fit?

This was the first time doing Pilates at 15 to Fit.

What results have you achieved since starting your program?

I feel stronger, my balance is better and I feel more energized. I work at a desk all day and Pilates has also helped my posture.

What would you say to people that haven’t been able to stick to an exercise program for encouragement?

I truly look forward to going each day and working out. The instructors change up the classes so you are never bored and are always learning new exercises.

What do you like best about 15 to Fit?

I like everything about it! The only bad workout for me is the one that didn’t happen.
