What made you decide you wanted or needed to start an exercise program? I hadn’t done anything for so long, and my health markers were going up on blood work. I knew I had to make a change.
What made you start doing Pilates? I had always wanted to try it. Then the 15 to Fit studio opened so close to home, it felt like the perfect opportunity. It has always been on my radar.
What do you like about Pilates? I like it because I can do it!!! I like it because it’s non competitive and very individualized.
How long have you been doing Pilates? 3 months
Have you done Pilates at any other studios other than 15 to Fit? No
What results have you achieved since starting your program? All bloodwork has been normal. Lost fat and gained muscle. Feel strength and endurance are improving and feel better. My posture and my shoulders resulted in pain for 15-20 years. That has all been resolved in less than three months time.
How did you get motivated to achieve your goals? The health issues. I knew they wouldn’t get better unless I did something.
Is there anything about you that makes your exercise story unique? With thyroid issues, I have to work even harder for results.
What would you say to people that haven’t been able to stick to an exercise program for encouragement? I would say it’s worth it to make the investment in yourself and make the time to do it.
What would you say to someone on the fence about joining our program? I would tell them to do it. I can’t say enough about how much better I feel.
What do you like best about 15 to Fit? I like the support and encouragement from the staff and I like the individualized attention. I like how everyone really seems to want to know their clients.
