How long have you been taking Pilates?
Since February….so about 5 months!
What do you like about 15 to Fit?
I like that it does not feel like a mega gym…I have never been a gym guy. I like that it is small and has an intimate feel. Plus, it is close to me so it is easy for me to get here.
How has your body changed since beginning Pilates?
I can tell I am much stronger and my flexibility has really improved. I have also noticed my posture is better. Things like running, hiking and swimming are easier than they use to be.
What have you done to achieve these results?
I attend class at least 4 times a week. And I was really motivated to make a change.
What has 15 to Fit done to help you?
They provide a good variety in the workouts. I like that it is a full body workout each time. Sometimes it will feel like interval training and other times it is like enhanced yoga…this variety keeps me from getting bored.
What would you say to someone who has a hard time sticking to an exercise routine?
First the person has to want it or they will never stick to it. I would tell someone thinking about trying Pilates to do it. It is not boring…. you can get weight training, light cardio, yoga & flexibility all within the workout. I think flexibility is a key to aging and this is a great way to work on it and improve!
